4505 Mat Cutting System

The 4505 does everything the 4501 does, but is designed for the professional or individual who needs wider border widths and a longer straightedge. The 4505 is made with brass-plated parts that will last a lifetime. Because it is open-ended, it will cut any length mat with border widths up to 8″. Cut single, double and triple mats, inlays, complex corners, mosaic corners, multiple openings and more. Use right- or left-handed. Comes complete with 10″ x 38″ base unit, 36″ straight edge, Model 45 Cutting Head, cutting surface, detailed instructions, 5 blades and DVD.

36″ Cutting Guide: A precision made, anodized aircraft aluminum straightedge.

Base: Sturdy 38″ laminated base with cutting surface included.

Brass-plated Post-Hole Measuring System: This patented system speeds the measuring and layout of any mat design. Cut border widths from 1/4″ up to 8″!

Model 45 Mat Cutter: A 45-degree, spring loaded bevel cutter engineered to fit the human hand, made from 33% glass-filled nylon for strength and durability.

Blades: Honed on both sides especially for mat cutting and maximum sharpness. When one end of the blade gets dull simply flip it over for another sharp tip. Uses the same blade as the Model 360 Circle Cutter and Model 90 T-Square Cutter.
